PETG – for parts that have to take something
For parts under load: brackets, housings, clips, adapters. Tougher than PLA, holds up to 75 °C, slightly glossy.
PETG bends before it breaks. That makes it the right material for clips, brackets, housings with snap fits and anything that gets assembled. It tolerates temperatures PLA no longer takes and minds moisture less. The surface has a slight gloss; fine detail is marginally softer than PLA. Small overhangs need supports a little sooner.

Electronics enclosures, brackets for workshop and car interior, spare parts for household appliances, adapters, connectors, funnels, functional small series.
Print settings
Standard 0.20 mm layers, 30 % infill, 0.4 mm nozzle. The calculator shows what finer layers or more infill cost.
