PLA – the standard for visible parts and models
The standard for visible parts, models and prototypes. Stiff, dimensionally accurate, very good surface. Not for above 55 °C or permanent outdoor use.
PLA is the material most orders are right with. It prints cleanly, does not warp, shows detail down to 0.08 mm and is the cheapest filament we stock. Its limits: from about 55 °C it softens, so nothing for a car in summer or next to the stove. And it is more brittle than PETG; clips with thin springs break sooner.

Figures, architectural models, prototypes for form checks, decor, vases, name plates, indoor brackets, teaching models.
Print settings
Standard 0.20 mm layers, 30 % infill, 0.4 mm nozzle. The calculator shows what finer layers or more infill cost.
